Full course description

Please join in this in-person, interactive, participant-centered training on school meals on October 18-October 20, 2023. At this multi-day training event, you'll learn practical and actionable information about school meal programs, discover culinary tips and tricks using hands on activities that make your job easier, and leave you feeling confident in your skills as a child nutrition professional.

This training is geared towards those of you who are new or newer (3 years or less in a supervisory role) in your role. Instruction will be at the most basic level. Your questions will be answered (yes...ALL of them!), and new relationships will be formed. While you may not think it's possible to learn so much and have so much fun learning all at one time--this training is going to do just that!

Training will be held at the Ft. Pierre Conference Center located at the AmericInn in Ft. Pierre, SD. The address for the facility is: 312 Island Dr. Ft. Pierre, SD 57532.
