Description:

Check and Connect is an evidence based program that provides wraparound supports for students wo are in danger of dropping out or have become disengaged with school.

This training will provide participants with:

• • The Core components and elements of Check and Connect.
  • The context for Check and Connect, including the process of disengagement and the risk factors associated with dropping out.
  • How Check and Connect was developed, its theoretical underpinnings, and its evidence base Steps for prepairing for and implementing Check and Connect at your site.

Training materials will be provided for the first 35 people registered.
