Full course description
This course empowers district and school leaders to implement a data-driven, tiered instruction system (MTSS/RTI) that ensures all students receive targeted literacy support matched to their needs. Participants will learn to use screening and diagnostic data to place students in Tier 1 (universal), Tier 2 (targeted), or Tier 3 (intensive) interventions, select evidence-based programs, and monitor progress to adjust supports. The course emphasizes scheduling, educator training, and fidelity checks to create equitable systems where all students—including those with dyslexia and multilingual learners—achieve literacy success.
