Full course description
Specifically designed for those who deliver trainings to their districts or cooperatives, attendees will be provided facilitation and training tools that align with the SD DOE literacy initiatives which incorporate the science of teaching reading and foundational reading skills in phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocab, reading comprehension. The Teaching Reading Sourcebook 3rd edition will be the focus for the training however, other resources that will be referenced include the SD ELA standards, the Multiple Measures 2nd edition, Dr. Anita Archer's Explicit Instruction, and Dr. Louisa Moats work with LETRS.
