This in-person workshop will be presented in Chamberlain on September 10, 2024, from 8:30am-4:00pmCT.

 

Session Description:

"Behavior Challenges" is a comprehensive session that delves into the journey from special education eligibility determination to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Participants will explore the legal foundations, assessment procedures, and best strategies for crafting effective IEPs that meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities, with a specific focus on behavior.

 

Target Audience:

This session is designed for educators, special education coordinators, school administrators, school psychologists, and other educators involved in the special education process, with a specific focus on behavior. Participants with varying levels of experience and expertise in special education are encouraged to enhance knowledge of process and student outcomes. Seven (7) continuing education contact hours (CECHs) are available; participants must participate in the full training.
