Building Meaningful Connections: Documenting annual goals, description of services, and progress monitoring

This on-demand session will have participants explore how to write clear, purposeful descriptions of specially designed instruction in the IEP’s Description of Services section. The training will focus on how to ensure services are aligned with each student’s annual goals and how to document the “what, when, where, how often, and how long” of service delivery. Teachers will also learn strategies to connect service time with progress monitoring practices, helping to ensure that every IEP reflects a meaningful commitment to student growth and success.
