In-Person workshop:  Thursday, September 28, 2023 – 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Central Time. 

How do you travel smoothly and follow the map from the Birth-3 process to Early Childhood and beyond? This workshop will provide participants with an overview of the Birth-3 transition process, Part B 619 IEP process specific to EC, transition from EC to kindergarten, and Developmental Delay through age 8. The trip will begin with district responsibility in Birth-3, the referral and evaluation from Birth -3 to Part B 619 (Indicator 12). The journey will lead through the EC IEP process, PPWN consent, evaluations, MDT, goals (Indicator 7), service time (Indicator 7), and Least Restrictive Environment (Indicator 6). Participants will be able to use scenarios to help improve their knowledge in the EC IEP process.
