Special Education Programs will be hosting an Early Childhood Internal Review webinar focused on completing the internal review document for preschool-aged students. The session will cover the Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFP), Goals, Accommodations and Modifications, and Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) sections of the Individualized Education Program (IEP).
During the live webinar, participants will receive guidance and technical assistance for each section, with opportunities to practice by following along with a sample student file. Each topic area will include an explanation of its importance, key components to look for, activities designed to deepen understanding, and a question-and-answer segment. Participants will also have time to work through their own internal review documents and ask questions as they go.
