Full course description
This course provides a comprehensive overview of how South Dakota implements the BDI‑3 and collects high‑quality data for Indicator B7.
Participants will explore the history of BDI‑3 adoption in South Dakota, learn to confidently navigate the Riverside Insights platform, and understand how program labels ensure the assessment is counted toward Indicator 7 data. The course also includes a guided review of available BDI‑3 resources, step‑by‑step instruction on entering Indicator 7 data, and strategies for running and interpreting data reports. In addition, participants will gain clarity on BDI‑3 outcomes and explanations, how Early Childhood Outcomes data align with accountability requirements, and where to access key Indicator 7 tools and supports to strengthen local data quality and reporting.
