The Office of Special Education Programs invites special education professionals to view this one-hour webinar recording, available beginning 8/1/2024, about parent involvement in the Individual Education Plan (IEP) process. The webinar will discuss district methods for fostering positive relationships with parents, including how to increase communication, develop partnerships, and distribute SPED information and resources to parents. Ideas for increasing district response rates on the Indicator 8 SD Parent Involvement Survey will be shared, and an overview of how to access and utilize district Parent Survey results will be provided.
