This course aims to provide training and assistance to South Dakota educators, administrators, other related professionals, and graduate students interested in learning more about Executive Functioning and ADHD. Many of the cognitive deficits associated with ADHD lie in the domain of executive functioning in neuropsychology. The focus of this course will be to promote a better understanding of the nature of ADHD symptoms, the diagnostic criteria for ADHD, and the modifications necessary for its use with special populations.
This course is offered for either 1 graduate credit through University of South Dakota or 15 Continuing Education hours. The requirements are different for each.
- Registration for graduate credit closes on Septermber 4, 2024. This is completed on the USD platform. Directions in the course syllabus.
- Registration for CECHs closes December 8, 2024.
- All course requirements must be completed by December 10, 2024.
