The Office of Special Education Programs invites special education professionals and school administrators to view this two-hour webinar recording IEP progress monitoring. Two continuing education contact hours (CECH) are available.
Under the IDEA, the Individual Education Program (IEP) is the roadmap. Drafting a legally sound IEP is step one in the process of ensuring a FAPE. Implementing the IEP with fidelity is step two. Timely and meaningful progress reporting is step three. Experienced school attorney Elena M. Gallegos will discuss the importance of IEP implementation and progress reporting. Ms. Gallegos will provide practical tips for when a student is not making progress.
